A Message from his Parents:
The Nicholas Frank Stevens Scholarship was created to model the
personality of our son Nick. Nick passed away June 11, 1999. He was just
8 years old and a student in the second grade at the Guildford Butler
School.
Nick was truly a given spirit, with a million dollar smile. He held his
hand out to anyone unconditionally. Although he was here only for a
short time he brought so much joy and love to those around him. We only
hope we will do the same in our lifetime.
Nick not only gave when he was on this earth he gave when he left by
given the gift of life to 6 people through organ donation.
Our promise to Nick is to continue his memory. One way we have done this
is through his scholarship. We have given out to date, $24,000 in
scholarships to Rockland District High School graduates.
Our goal is to have the opportunity to give a scholarship to each member
of Nick's 2nd grade class from the Guildford Butler School who he would
have been graduating with in 2009. Just a little something to support
their higher education in memory of Nick our son and their classmate as
they follow their dreams. It would some how allow us to be a part of
realizing their dreams in honor of our son.

Message from Chris Fyfe:
I have had the honor and privilege to participate in this show for the
past few years. I have seen a tremendous amount of caring and giving at
this event. It truly is a wonderful event and cause. As mentioned in the
parents message above, their goal is to provide a scholarship to each
member of Nick's 2nd grade class who will be graduating in 2009. That
leave's only one more show to meet that goal.
I am asking for your assistance in this goal. PLEASE consider making a
donation by clicking on the DONATION button at the bottom of this page.
I would like to present a check to the parents towards their goal along
with a card listing all of the people who made donations. Even if your
donation is only $1.00 every bit will certainly count and be greatly
appreciated.
It is you and only you that can make the realization of this dream come
true. I ask of you to help me make this dream become reality. I will be
having the presentation recorded on video and will provide a clip of the
recording and some still photographs on my site for you to see after the
show in October 2008.
